Makeup Revolution London Redemption Palette Essential Mattes Review

Makeup Revolution London Redemption Palette Essential Mattes Review

I love matte eye shadows. I have small hooded eyes and shimmery eyeshadows make it smaller. So I prefer to use matte eyeshadow. They look more natural and beautiful at the same time. And Makeup Revolution London made this Matte palette called Redemption Palette Essential Mattes.
In this palette, you will find mostly neutral shades and some dark black shades. Not let me show you its short and to the point review.

Price :- £4.00 But I got this from jabong about INR 425 ( Don't remember the exact price) When They were having a sale.

I got three different palettes last year. I did a review on MUR awesome eyeshadow palette (Make Believe) and another palette will be reviewed later.

What Makeup Revolution says :-
THE ultimate Palettes with ultra high payoff. A perfect mix of neutral matte shades. A pure sellout.

MY experience with Makeup Revolution London Redemption Palette Essential Mattes :-

It contains 12 matte eye shadows from nude beige colors to dark brown and black colors. It can be your everyday palette. The packaging is very sturdy. The Palette made of plastic and comes with a dual side sponge applicator. The transparent lid helps you to see eye shadows without opening the box. Now, Comes to the important part The Pigmentation. The eye shadows are not pigmented as they look at the palette. When I saw the palette, I was amazed by the colors but when I swatched them. I got super disappointed. They are extremely powdery, chalky and fall out a lot. Even with a good primer, you will need 2-3 swipes to build to color. Most disappointed colors were the Nudes. I mean, all look same while application and super chalky. The staying power is also not so good. It stays up to 2 hrs on my eyes if you applied a good primer.
I was so disappointing with this palette by MUR. But I found a way of using this palette. I am using this palette for contouring. Because the colors are easy to blend and I think nudes and brown Colors are pretty good for contouring.

A big NO for this palettes. If you are interesting in buying Makeup revolution palettes. Then buy their any shimmery pallets. They are amazing. But I will not recommend any one to buy this Redemption Palette Essential Mattes palette. If you own this palette Then apply these eye shadows with wet brush. You will see less fall out.
Hope you will found this tutorial helpful. Have you own any makeup revolution palette??

    1. Yeah! Swatches looks amazing Because I swipe the color about 3-4 times. And I applied these with my finger but the colors was not same when I applied it with brush. It was just falling from brush while application. And this is the reason I don't like this palette. I own more more palettes from MUR and they are amazing.
